Events Executive

I have an excellent opportunity for a Events Executive to work for a major company based in Hertfordshire.

You will be responsible for the production of Online events:
On an event by event basis you will work with the commercial and delivery teams to create the event.

* Delivery teams - you'll be working with a talented production team of designers, UX user experience, copywriters, coders and content publishers.

* Commercial teams - You'll be the interface into the business working closely with the commercial trading events team, performance marketing and operations.

You're the production organiser, the glue. It'll often be down to you to pull people together in order to deliver the best event experience for our customers.

o Working with UX, our commercial colleagues, you'll stretch yourselves to truly think like a customer and focus on the entire event journey - focus where we can improve sales & satisfaction, ensure that events are navigable with lists that you as a customer can logically filter on using the left hand navigation filters. It's tempting to just deliver, but we and our customers need you to deliver brilliantly

o You are accountable for checking the quality of the brief submitted by the events commercial team - understand the brief's intent, what it means for the customer and the business.

o Use analytics tools to help understand customer behaviour & measure the impact the changes you are involved in make on our key metrics - Deliver improved Conversion rates.

o Manage last minute product changes - understand and ensure that these changes are treated with urgency.

o Understand SEO and the requirements to ensure all elements are optimised - by ensuring elements are named correctly &Meta data is correctly associated to content on the site & URLs are optimised.

o Constantly improve our ways of working and your organisational skills - we can always become more proactive, collaborative, innovative and efficient. Be a fantastic operator and team player.

Very organised and process driven with an ability to manage your workload, resolve issues and always looking for ways to improve the process. As well as a meticulous eye for detail, you will need to have a logical and analytical approach.

* Liaising and influencing - Working with the commercial teams you will need to be able to communicate across different levels in our organisation and make strong and hard decisions when needed to ensure we deliver to deadlines.

* Consistency in your views, decisions and ways of working is essential in order to meet deadlines and build strong relationships with your colleagues.

* Whilst being personally robust and willing to challenge the status quo you will work closely with other team members and must be able to 'bring people with you'.

* You will have a passion for all things digital!

On behalf of the business and customers, you will have experience some/all of the following aspects
Online marketing and operations in a commercial environment.

* Planning - proven ability at delivering things on time and to a high standard in a fast, creative and dynamic environment.

* Your written and verbal communication skills must be second to none - structured, flexible and clear.

Key Skills/Experience and Qualifications required:

At least one year's professional work experience in a marketing or commercial role within a retail or consumer company.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential
