My client are a rapidly expanding, global commodities trading business. Due to huge expansion and the implementation of their new IT strategy, they have an urgent requirement for a talented candidate to manage the definition, deployment and build of their European Infrastructure across multiple sites in Europe. The successful candidate will initially manage a team of 6 people, building this to 15 people, supporting all infrastructure disciplines across server, network, desktop, service desk and applications support. You will be well versed in building and deploying robust infrastructure solutions within complex business landscape with experience in commodities trading, financial services, telecommunications or supply chain an advantage (however not essential). The successful candidate will have a combination of both line management and hands on technical experience and happy to be involved in more simple technical resolution where necessary to help the team to continue to deliver against business demand. This is an excellent position working within a team of very dynamic people and an environment that feels almost like a start up but with strong financial support. Its based in Geneva, Switzerland and offers excellent rates. The client will pay travel and accommodation for excellent candidates.
