European Financial Controller

Role:

You will be reporting to Corporate Finance H/O in the US

Assist the UK & French operations in overseeing the general accounting function which includes inter-company accounting,cash management/reconciliation,financial reporting,balance sheet management and review.

Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.

Coordinate and oversee the Sarbanes Oxley activities relative to internal controls documentation and testing and segregation of duties.

Provide technical accounting GAAP guidance and support.

Ensure that company financial records,under responsibility are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterley account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.

Ensure that company financial reports are prepared in compliance with policies and directive,US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Experience Required:

Combination of Public Practice experience and Manufacturing Accounting experience.

Previous Management experience

Experience in analysing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of US GAAP,internal controls and financial reports
