EUC Architect (End User Computing)

EUC ARCHITECT/6 MONTH CONTRACT/ZURICH, SWITZERLAND/CIRCA 700 CHF PER DAY
My client, a global IT services company, is seeking an End User Computing Architect to be based onsite with their customer in Zurich, one of the largest engineering companies in the world.
This is a long term project with an initial 6 month contract offer.
Responsibilities:
* Gather requirements from customer on the vision and roadmap on End user space
* Assess, design, build and implement End user technologies stack and architecture
* Design solutions, articulate various components and tools of end user technologies based on customer environment and expectations.
* Front End customer discussion on architecting and solution for End user IT infrastructure
* Present solution to customer stakeholders and drive solutions implementation.
* Participate to develop and manage architecture governance structure on the basis of business, and IT strategies, as relevant for End User Services.
* Develop implementation plan for EUC related solution on the basis of IT strategies and business requirements.
* Enforce infrastructure architecture execution as well as ongoing refinement tasks.
* Identify need to change technical architecture to incorporate infrastructure needs.
* Ensure documentation of entire architecture design and evaluation work.
* Develop and execute communication plan for project execution.
Skills and Experience expected:
* 10+ Overall experience on core End user technologies
* Expertise in overall End User Stack technologies and competency in AD and Exchange
* Hands on experience on End Point Device management, Software Management, File and Print Services, Collaboration Tools
* Expertise in VDI (VMware/Citrix), Mobility, End user experience monitoring tools, OS and software distribution technologies
* Expertise in Assessment, design, build and implement End user technologies stack.
* Proficiency in designing HLD and LLD
* Proficiency in building detailed design and implementation plan
* Proficient in AD and Exchange Migration approaches and tools.
* Experience working with mobility tools - Airwatch or XenMobile
* Good command over SCCM/Altiris client management tools
