ETL/SQL migration specialist - contract - Geneva - financial industry
One of our clients in the financial industry is currently looking for an external resource for a large data migration project. The scope of the project is to migrate data from a Legacy application based on Oracle into a new one based on NoSQL.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze structure and type of data in the existing system (data mapping)
- Extract data from the existing platform, transform them into a compatible format for the new system and load them to the new system (ETL)
- Perform the data migration in two European locations
Requirements:
- Excellent ETL and SQL skills
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role in a large enterprise environment
- Explicit data migration experience
- Flexible to travel (max. 20%)
