ETL Engineer

Our long standing partner who is a global consultancy are currently looking for a ETL Engineer to do further man power to a on going project based in Brussels Belgium.

A suitable candidate must have the following experience:

- Design and deploy a set of data applications
- Experience in cloud and on-premise solutions
- ETL knowledge for large data sets on distributed systems
- Knowledge of aggregations, reduplication and linking to identities
- Expert knowledge of NOSQL, SQL, Python, C #, Java, Scala, C/C ++, ...
- 5 years of relevant experience in data jobs/streams and pipeline
- Experience in automation and devops tooling
- Experience in workflow mgmt and job shedding of data loads
- Experience in Real Time data streaming and processing

SKILLS:

- Experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, EventHub, DataLakes, Kafka, Apache Nifi, ...)
- Knowledge of the various cloud platforms and on premise
- Proven track record in production-worthy systems for customer data intelligence
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning algorithms so that you can ensure that your data deliveries are ideal for the data scientists.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage, and security.
- Capable to coach junior profiles and provide technical advice and direction.

KNOWLEDGE OF DUTCH IS A MUST
