Projektbeschreibung
Our client is a Global Technology Company with operations across Ireland. They are currently seeking experienced Data Modellers (ETL Developers) to join their team on a contract basis.
The contract can be based in either Galway or Kildare for a 9 month with possibility of extension.
- Extensive experience in Development, Client Analysis, Database Design and Presentation using SQL Server 7.0/2000/2005/2008/2008 R2.
- Hands on experience in Installing, Configuring, Managing, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Upgrading and Migrating SQL Server 2008/2005/2000.
- Extensive experience in data migration between homogeneous & heterogeneous systems using various tools (DTS Import Export Data, DTS Packages, Bulk Insert and BCP, SSIS).
- Experience in database performance tuning and query optimization, data integrity and statistics and stored procedures using SQL Profiler and Index Tuning Wizard.
- Extensive knowledge and Experience in dealing with Relational Database Management Systems, including Database Normalization, Tables, Stored Procedures, Constraints, Querying, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Data Import/Export, Triggers, Cursors.
- Experienced in transforming complex business logic into Database design, Migration and maintaining it by using SQL tools such as Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Views, Data Modeling and DTS.
- Experienced in Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) between Homogenous and Heterogeneous System using SQL tools like SSIS, Data Transformation Services (DTS), Bulk Insert, BCP, and XML.
- Experience in creating DTS/SSIS packages with ActiveX Scripting for transferred data modifications.
- Extensively worked on SSIS packages/object to extract data from various data sources, transform it and load the data into destination like, OLAP server for further analysis.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports in parameter report, drill down reports, tabular, Matrix, sub reports, subtotals of reports .
- Created views and Stored Procedures for generating report. Responsible for creating the reports based on the requirements using SSRS 2005/2008. Extensively worked in sorting the data, defining subtotals for the reports.
- Excellent Experience in developing Custom Reports and different types of Tabular Reports, Matrix Reports, Ad hoc reports and distributed reports in multiple formats using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Generated reports using SQL Server Reporting Services integrated and deploying them using web applications onto the web Servers.
- Good knowledge of Data Marts, Data warehousing, Operational Data Store (ODS), OLAP, Data Modeling like Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema Modeling, Snow-Flake Modeling, FACT and Dimensions Tables using MS Analysis Services
- Created and Configured OLAP Cubes (Star Schema and Snow flex Schema) using SSAS.
