ETL Developer - Business Objects Data Services Experience

My client is seeking an ETL Developer with Business Objects Data Services experience to work on a 6 month contract basis in Sydney Olympic Park. You will be responsible for the following:

- Develop, maintain, test and debug new and existing ETL source code
- Assist in the development of unit test cases and test scripts ranging in complexity
- Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation
- Performance and data quality validation on new and existing packages, mappings and workflows
- Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the ETL Development process

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Business Objects Data Services is essential
- HANA exposure
- Must have ETL tool experience/SAP Data Integrator
- Knowledge of Oracle Databases and MS SQL Databases
- Datastage knowledge
- Business Objects 3.2-4.1 Experience
- Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
- At least 4 years' experience supporting large database solutions
- Strong knowledge of data management principles and ETL development within a large data environment
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- You must be located in Sydney to be considered
