ELT Developer

One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking an ETL Developer to work in a dynamic environment for a long, well-paying and stable contract in the Netherlands.

KEY SKILLS:

* Excellent knowledge of and experience with PowerCenter 9 and/or MS SQL Server 2012 (Designer);
* Knowledge of data quality and data profiling;
* Excellent knowledge of and experience with dimensional modelling and DWH process;
* Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL (Oracle 11g), knowledge and experience with Oracle Spatial and PL/SQL, the latter is an advantage;
* Knowledge of and experience with Scripting;
* Knowledge of XML, Web services including Odatafeeds and SOAP services;
* conceptual and current knowledge of the functions, applications and metadata properties; Annexes descriptive document ETL Development and Management Page 2 of 2
* familiar with DTAP, DSDM and PRINCE2 principles and way of working.
* familiar with features, applications and metadata properties;

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* responsible for data warehouse development and management process,
* including contributing to global design/solution translation to ETL design (Import, staging, integration, storage, data marts), star modelling, building ETL processes PowerCenter 9 and/or MS SQL Server 2012 or later, debugging, testing + test plan, implement ETL processes ETL management in particular and management;
* developing, modifying and managing ETL PowerCenter 9 and/or MS SQL Server 2012 ETL processes and flows;
* advise on the technical feasibility of projects;
* through providing version control processes on the DTAP;
* providing support to the production especially of developed processes;
* providing support in setting up the processes surrounding sceduling processes;
* Transfer of ETL processes on the DTAP;
* responsible for over versioning processes on the DTAP;
* Management of authorizations within the ETL environment;
* scheduling ETL processes;
* monitors ETL on DTAP environments

* Check the loading tables on discrepancies
* metadata and reports;
* escalating performance issues for DBAs and IT management;
* escalate source system problems to other management teams;
* up-to-date and contribute to the further development of all the styles, standards and guidelines for the ETL processes;
* to contribute to processes, products and services of the team Data warehouse.
