ETL Developer

We are looking for an ETL Developer for a contract role with our client in Newark, DE. They will be working on a team designing and implementing multiple ETL mechanisms. The primary role is to load and transform incoming files into various database tables as well as, generate outgoing files from database tables in CommonLine 4 format files.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- 3-5 Years of database development experience including MS SQL 2008+
- Extensive ETL process creation experience
- Strong T-SQL experience
- Experience managing file movement via SSIS
- Ability to create design docs and data flow documents using Visio, Word, and/or Excel
- Experience in mapping data using disparate data sources such as flat files, databases, XML files and/or unstructured data.
- CommonLine 4 file format experience is a plus
- Experience and ability to reverse engineer complex databases, understand complex data structures and data, and ability to data map between different relational databases.
- Provide guidance and insight into developing quality assurance test cases to validate data load processes. Experience with creating automated data comparison routines for automated testing is a plus.
