ETL Developer

A top financial firm is looking for an ETL Developer to join their qualified and diverse team to develop and implement a strategic Management Reporting system in Jersey City.

This person will primarily be responsible for designing and constructing the components of the Management Reporting system, which includes the collection, transformation and analysis of the underlying data, as well as the supporting workflow and final delivery of the reports.

Some Duties Include:
- Partner with business analysts to understand requirements, source systems, and perform data analysis
- Participate in system design based on functional and technical requirements
- Design and implement work flows, as well as extract and load source data into a central repository using enterprise business intelligence and/or ETL technologies.
- Provide guidance to vendor technical resources about company's technology standards and ensure all Change Control procedures are adhered to
- Assist in the creation and execution of performance testing and QA plans
- Document technical configurations and train RTB team which will help maintain the system in PROD environment

This will be a 6+ month contract that they will be looking to extend or turn full time.

The rate will be based on experience, but are looking for someone with 5-8 years experience in IT as a Developer, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation.
