The Senior Informatica developer will be responsible for designing and developing the mappings and workflows necessary to populate various data models. This will include sourcing data from multiple different data source types and loading into Oracle tables, as well as creating extracts for various groups within the operation that will be delivered via various mechanisms.

This person should be able to demonstrate Informatica expertise in a mixed-technology environment (Oracle, MSSQL, flat files, etc) with large and complex data. The ETL developer will also need to show proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL. The ability to think outside the box is essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
Create, tuning and testing complex ETL processes for large and complex OLAP/OLTP data sets
Create and maintain Informatica 8.x/9.x workflows
Create ETL processes from business requirements.
Participate in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and collect requirements.
Validate the accuracy of business rules and transformations
Develop Test Cases

Required Skills/Qualification:
Informatica
Strong knowledge of HealthCare industry, a plus
8.6 and 9.x suite of products
Expertise in the entire PowerCenter suite (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor)
Conforming and merging data from multiple data source types (ie MSSQL, Oracle, flat files, etc.)
o Incrementally loading large tables with complex keys
o Using transformations to implement complex business rules
Workflow management
o Designing incremental load logic
o Error handling
o Using Informatica to restart failed jobs
o Tracking performance and job status and job scheduling
Performance tuning
o Workflow optimization
o Mapping optimization
o Transformation optimization
ETL documentation
o Experience using ASG-Rochade is a plus

ORACLE
Experience with Oracle 11g preferred
Experience writing complex SQL queries against large data sets
Query optimization (indexing, partitioning, Oracle configuration, etc.)
o Experience capturing and interpreting Oracle performance based statistics is a plus
Creating, modifying and optimizing stored procedures and packages
Familiarity with dimensional models and Operational Data Stores
Experience gathering and implementing business rules
Experience reconciling data output to existing reports and source data
Excellent oral and written communication
Self Starter who takes initiative
