Our client is a high profile Government Agency located in CANBERRA. The department is looking for a, experienced ETL/DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER to improve data holdings and integration within the Data Warehouse environment. This is a rare 9 month contract position with a possible 6 month renewal available and an excellent hourly rate on offer for the successful candidates.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- Develop various functional components of the data warehouse and applications, including; Teradata SQL and System management functions including load automation, data acquisition functions and others.
- Implementation and configuration of extract programs on source systems, utilising IBM Infosphere Information Server (ETL) full product suite.
- Work with the Enterprise Business, Applications and Infrastructure Architects to deliver enterprise solutions and;
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex applications in global distributed computing environments

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- Have extensive and demonstrated experience in Data Warehousing, Information Management or Business Intelligence Projects.;
- Proven experience in developing overall ETL processes;
- Demonstrate ability to work with technical delivery teams to ensure compliance to the agreed architecture;
- Have previous experience within an enterprise data warehousing discipline with demonstrated delivery from a detailed enterprise wide data model at the logical and physical levels and;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
