ETL Datastage Developer, Eindhoven, Netherlands, 6 Month+ Contract

DATASTAGE ETL DEVELOPER, 6 MONTH+ CONTRACT WORK

My client is a large consulting partner currently looking for candidates to work in one of its project in Eindhoven. Ideally the candidate will have experience of managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Minimum 5 year experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage Server and Parallel edition (version 8.1 and later)
- Experience working with complex data loading processes for Data Warehouses, Data Marts and Operational data stores with multidimensional data modelling concepts
- Efficient in all phases of SDLC Methodology (Agile/Scrum/Iterative Development, coherent with Data cleansing, data conversion, performance tuning and unit testing.
- Solid ETL design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- Proven experience with PL/SQL, SQL and Object Oriented concepts and design and relational database, Netezza, Oracle...etc
- Proficient experience in UNIX shells Scripting.
- Excellent problem solving skills with strong technical background and good interpersonal skills.

DESIRED PROFILE:

- Deep hands on advanced IBM Infosphere DataStage parallel job development (parallel architecture, configuration files, stages and connectors, environment variables, parameters& routines)
- Good experience on developing the Data Warehouse, Data Marts.
- Strong SQL and OLTP & OLAP skills (Oracle, Netezza).
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
