ETL/Data Warehouse Developers

ETL/Data warehouse developers are required to assist with a program of work to enhance the targeting 
and analytics capability within the department. They will undertake a range of enhancement activities to improve timeliness of information provision, increase the available information holdings and improve  report performance to enable the implementation of an Enterprise Data Model view of a given entity across all interactions within the Service. In line with the strategic change programs outlined in the 2012-13 Annual Plan of the Department.

You will be required to

Develop various functional components of the data warehouse and applications, including;

- Development of (primarily Teradata SQL) scripts and processes for loading and integration of data,  
- Physical table and database design
- Data cleansing functions, and;
- System management functions including load automation, data acquisition functions and others. 

Implementation and configuration of extract programs on source systems, utilising IBM Infosphere 
Information 

. Server (ETL) full product suite.

Work with the Enterprise Business, Applications and Infrastructure Architects to deliver enterprise 
solutions.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex applications 
in global distributed computing environments

Liaise with project managers, developers, vendors, senior managers and clients to ensure
requirements are met
