ETL/Data Integration Specialist

Our client in the Wadsworth area is looking for a Data Integration Specialist for a 3+ month contract.  

The qualified candidate will be an experienced Data Integration Specialist to assist in providing data migration analysis, and ETL (Extraction Transformation and Load) of business data utilizing our client’s current defined ETL tool (IBM DataStage. 

SCOPE:

Experienced Data Integration Specialist who has the following skills, at minimum:

- Strong technical knowledge of ETL tools (Data Storage), RDBMA, SUSE, and Linux
- The ability to understand and interpret data  models
- Test plan development and execution
- Good communication
- Collaboration and planning skills
- Process modeling and process improvement 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with various IT staff and business users to develop and maintain production ETL jobs that extract and load data between Legacy mainframe systems, DB2 operational databases, and DB2 analytical data warehouses and    data marts
- Manage the scheduling and running of ETL jobs in test and production including all documentation and operations
- Promote, configure, and test ETL objects
