ETL Architect Job

ETL ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PHILADELPHIA, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Strong preference for a minimum five (5) years in day to day - Architecture using Linux, Informatica, Pentaho and Oracle OBIEE environments.
- Requires understanding of complete Data Warehouse SDLC.
- Experience with mange service and on-shore and off-shore development experience is must
- End to End System Data Warehouse and ETL Architecture
- Five to seven (5-7) years leading data warehousing design and development as an ETL Lead, ETL Architect, Senior DW developer, DW consultant, or similar role required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The incumbent will be the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) master architect of scalable, well performing, cohesive, and integrated ETL processes for the data warehouse, intermediate data stores, and data marts for source data acquisition, data hygiene, staging, transformations, loading, error handling, updating, change control, integration, and data transmission to partner organizations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five to seven (5-7) years leading data warehousing design and development as an ETL Lead, ETL Architect, Senior DW developer, DW consultant, or similar role required.
- Development of End to End ETL architecture using Informatica, Pentaho, Oracle, OBIEE and Hadoop
- Ability to design data solution components, including data analysis and design, stream ingestion, data transforms and integration, data quality checks, adhere/enforce Enterprise Data Warehouse Release management process, configuration management, automated testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and analytic support.
- Design, plan, and develop solutions to perform automated extract, transform and load data between data sources when working with large data sets (TBs+ range)
- Understand relational and non-relational database design principles, including normalization, de-normalization, and ability to read and interpret source and target systems.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Hadoop, MAP-R, and GoldenGate
