Estimator - SC Cleared

A top defence organisation based in Buckinghamshire is seeking an SC Cleared Estimator/Accountant for an initial 3-6 Month Contract. This role is for an ASAP start and will require occasional work in London.

This role will involve the following duties:- - Generation and assurance of financial sections within independent business cases for each delivery work stream
- Supports generation and assurance of financial elements within strategic case
- Supports generation and assurance of financial elements within deployment model and cost assumptions
- Challenge assumptions to ensure baseline will deliver VFM.
- Work with procurement to verify information on quotes and ROM's.
- Monitor resource profiling and ensure appropriate rates are applied.
- Understand any areas of financial risk and build mitigation paths
- Do analysis and sense checks on models to ensure up-to-date and accurate cost
- Work with key stakeholders to verify the finance numbers.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:- - Experience of estimating/bidding work
- Modelling/excel skills.
- Ability to interact and challenge at all levels.

Desired Requirements-
- Ideally a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience of risk analysis
