Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for obtaining bids through Safeguard's sub-contractor network. Serves as a resource to contractors, brokers and clients during the bidding process.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

- Enters, updates estimate work orders
- Negotiates with contractors in the best interest of Safeguard and its clients
- Respond to all business communications within 24-48 hours
- Required to meet or exceed productivity and quality standards set forth by the department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or GED equivalency required. Associates degree or some college level education preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production driven office environment
- Vendor management and negotiation skills strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to carry projects/tasks through completion
- Construction experience a plus
