Estimator

Our prestigious facilities client based near the Heathrow area are urgently looking for a Mechanical Estimator with airports experience. As the right candidate you will successfully obtain the tender price from suppliers, wholesalers and subcontractors as well as visit site and interpret drawings to clarify what is required and assist in establishing the best cost effective solutions. As the Mechanical Estimator you will ensure that the build up to the Tender submission and all supporting documents are maintained in a logical and sequential manner and demonstrate an ability to develop options which differentiates the clients Tender from the competition. As the right candidate for the role you will participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team. The Key skills we are looking for the mechanical estimator to have are:
Knowledge of all types of Mechanical Installations
Commercial and Industrial Background
Worked in similar industry within Airports environment
Able to prioritise, plan, work to tight deadlines
Able to measure quantities from drawings
PC literate
Ideally the Mechanical Estimator will have a HNC or equivalent in Building Services and hold a valid CSCS card
