Estimator

My client a regional contractor urgently requires a temporary Estimator to join their busy team. This will be an ongoing role with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will be a standalone Estimator from a commercial background and must be able to prepare their own quantities and manage their own take offs.

Experience working with the water industry and wastewater networks.

- Experience and Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and forms of contract
- A recognised diploma or degree in an engineering discipline or be qualified by experience.
- Microsoft software, an advantage would be experience using Estimating software packages
- Cost planning knowledge and experience
- An understanding of construction technology and innovative techniques
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- An understanding of commercial aspects of tendering
- Flexible and positive approach

Candidate's will ideally have experience of the Estimating software ConQuest and must be educated to degree level.
