This is a contract role that will run for an initial 6 months with the possibility of running for a further 6 months.
Candidates will be advising the council in respect to estates and valuation management and be responsible for the estates and valuation tasks including receipt of reports, advice and recommendations from the councils property consultants and agents and to inform and liaise with the councils services as appropriate.
Candidates will manage a diverse portfolio of council properties, identify potential new properties for acquisition and dispose of existing properties no longer in use.
A RICS accreditation is desirable, a mix of public sector and commercial experience is also preferable. Finally as a team leader, candidates will have to demonstrate a good track record of leadership.
