Xerox are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated people with a strong technical aptitude to develop detailed software and/or hardware knowledge of the Xerox Office product range to ensure excellent technical support is provided at all times to customers, business partners and major accounts.

As the Support Specialist you will support and develop the Remote Solve team and the Mentor team through coaching & training to ensure they meet their operational objectives. You will ensure a strong focus is maintained on successfully resolving Warranty and Contract printer conditions remotely through technical escalations from field engineers and other third party partners, resolution rates & availability to Direct Access technicians. As a member of the Escalated Support Group you will also support Xerox Service Partners outside Europe (Middle East, Africa, & Asia) where applicable.

- Previous experience of working in similar technical support role is essential
- The ability to communicate in English and either Dutch, German or Italian with complete accuracy and clarity (both verbal and written)
- Experienced at troubleshooting known/unknown technical queries
- Experience of supporting and maintaining electrical and/or mechanical devices eg Printers, & Peripherals
- A good and detailed knowledge of IT Fundamentals (PC hardware, Printer languages, Operating Systems, Desktop Applications, Networking, Network protocols, etc)
- A-Level Education/Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Relevant technical qualifications
- A strong aptitude and interest in developing detailed printer hardware knowledge to a specialist level
- The ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations
- The ability to convey sensitivity and a positive approach to customer needs
- The ability to demonstrate effective interactive skills and to work as part of a team
- A good knowledge of the various current printing technologies on the market
- Living and working experience in the country of customer base (Netherlands/Germany/Italy) - desirable
- Good knowledge of current range of Xerox or competitor products eg Canon, HP etc - desirable
- Demonstrable interest in Software and/or Hardware and Net works - desirable
