Ertms Onboard Specialist

In coming years, it is necessary to renew large parts of the railway signalling systems in Norway, so we'll be facing with many exciting challenges with the optimization of existing facilities and installing new systems. Rail is now working on plans to introduce the new European signalling standard system - ERTMS. You will be part of the organization that will manage and direct the engineering efforts towards implementation of this new system of standards.

We are looking for experienced ERTMS Onboard Specialist that would be engaged in a large implementation project of the ERTMS on the Norwegian railway network.

MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Retrofitting of on-board ERTMS equipment
- Perform compatibility on-site testing of the system
- Lab and Field Wayside/Onboard Verification Tests
- Test & Commissioning Activities on site

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Several years of experience with ERTMS Onboard equipment
- Expert knowledge of the European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS)
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
