ERP System Analyst

On behalf of our client, an international company, we are currently looking for a Business Systems analyst with an ERP background. This role is a full time contract position (6 months) based in Schaffhausen.

You will be part of a small, dynamic IT team supporting two sites in maintaining the ERP system and implementing new solutions. The local IT teams provide second level support to the users onsite.
The role
Provides direct application support to assigned business area in line with service level agreement. Works directly with clients and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for a business problem. Leads small projects or provides assistance to Project Managers on phases of a larger project.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Performs work using existing standards (eg UML), methodologies (eg SDLC) and processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management) and understands other systems/business processes relationship to each other. Investigates alternative solutions, which use existing applications. Develops test protocols and conducts the required tests to confirm requirements. Prepares, develops and conducts clients and systems training. Manages small projects according to milestones and within time and budget constraints. Identifies and implements IT process improvements.
Profile:
Bachelors Degree
3 to 4 years of related work experience.
Team player, high integrity and accountability
ERP experience or CPIM certification is strongly preferred.
Preferable experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Very good knowledge of English and German.
