The organisation is embarking on an ambitious transformational programme of work to replace existing finance, HR, payroll and procurement systems, aiming for implementation of the new enterprise system in 2014.
The ERP Project Manager will manage the implementation of the new enterprise business systems from project start-up, through procurement, supplier selection and tender, delivery, to project completion.
As the ERP Project Manager your objectives will be:
- To deliver the project within agreed limits for time, cost and quality
- To ensure effective management of 3rd party suppliers of the new systems
- To ensure that the project adheres to the University's preferred project management methodology (Prince2)
The University are yet undecided on the ERP system they are looking to choose, but welcome candidates with experience of SAP, Oracle, Agresso or similar products - in particular supplier management with these products.
Candidates wishing to apply with experience of Full Project Life Cycle as an ERP Project Manager, who is ideally Prince2 certified or MSP. You must be educated to degree level and have excellent communication skills. Candidates with experience working within complex organisations such as University's or the Not for Profit sector are a preferred - however those without this experience would not be discounted.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
