ERP Delivery Director

My client, a FTSE 100 listed organisation are seeking an SAP Delivery Director for a long term contract role.

The role has end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery and deployment of SAP across a particular wave. The candidate will be managing on site and off site teams as well as dealing with any legal or fiscal changes to the SAP template.

Requirements:

-Strong experience with SAP programme delivery and deep understanding of the change and release cycle.
-Multiple full life cycle roll outs. (5+)
-Prior experience of a global SAP programme roll out.
-Proven experience in managing third party service providers including systems integrators, software and hardware vendors.
-The ability to drive teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
-The ability to manage two releases in parallel at different stages in the cycle
- Must have worked in a blue chip environment and be able to to deal with high pressure projects.
- Experience and knowledge of project methodologies and frameworks such as ASAP and Prince 2.
-The role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to exec level.

Responsibility:

-Undertake end-to-end accountability for the SAP release to a group of markets, manging the release: schedule / plans ; scope, resources and cost.
-Accountable for delivery of individual release scope, budget and plans.
-Responsible for managing timely and quality deliverables/outputs from the relevant IT and business delivery teams across the ERP programme.
