ER Specialist (Employee Relations)

ER SPECIALIST - CONTRACT POSITION - GLASGOW CITY CENTRE

- Reporting into the ER Manager
- Handling medium to high risk/complexity ER cases
- 4-6 Month initial contract

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading blue chip company in Glasgow within their ER team and working as part of their wider HR team. Your role will be to provide advice and support to business managers on people and ER issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide advice and support to line managers on medium-high risk/complexity people ER issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, medium to long term absence, performance management, Employment Tribunals and small claims
- Support business organisational changes
- Maintain accurate and up to date records
- Work closely with other teams including HR Shared Services, HRBPs and business managers
- Identify trends and notify Head of ER
- Coach managers and facilitate workshops
- Support ER Advisors

REQUIREMENTS:

- Solid ER background within a fast paced commercial environment
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with people and business driven ER issues
- Experience of managing medium-high complexity ER cases to conclusion
- Team player
- Able to make decisions that support the needs of the business
- Able to prioritise and work under pressure
- CIPD qualified
