Equity Research Analyst Life Sciences - Sell Side

We are an international, full service brokerage firm offering securities brokerage, financial planning, and investment banking services seeking a high-energy, hands-on Equity Research Analyst - Sell Side within the Life Sciences, (biotech), sector to work at our New York City office.

In this position you will make recommendations on companies and their securities. The research analyst position is focused on the life sciences, (biotechnology) sector for the firm's expanding capital markets platform. Prepare reports, recommendations, statistical and other data for the Firm's publication issued to the general public. Answer inquiries from customers, Firm personnel, and the general public regarding individual securities or industry groups. Prepare special studies to furnish information to the Syndicate and Investment Banking Departments. Make field trips, attend relevant conferences, interview company executives, prepare records and files to develop and maintain sources of information to assist in analyzing your industry.
