The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.
The European Equity Client Reporting team is looking for a highly motivated and confident candidate to become a member of an eleven person global team. Client reporting is a key component of PL as represented by Commission and New Activity and has an important role in the analysis and direction of Firm strategy and performance. The Client Reporting team's overall role is to provide guardianship and control over client and sales data. The team provides a range of reports both tactical and strategic to support senior Finance and Business Unit management in their decision making. The focus of the team is mainly European Equities; however, many of the reports and analysis produced are global in nature, so the role involves a significant amount of global liaison.

The goal of the team is provide accurate and timely reporting to our key clients ensuring strong guardianship with a high level of client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Review of daily, weekly and monthly business and client reports and analytics
Review and reconciliation of client data feeds to ensure integrity and accuracy of data
Responding to ad-hoc reporting requests from the Business Units from junior sales staff to sales desk heads and global product COO's
Gaining a thorough understanding of internal Equity product systems and revenue flows
Driving forward the team's global project agenda including improving data quality, automation and enhancing the level on analytics in our current reporting suite
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Several years banking or relevant finance/management reporting experience
Strong communicator and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong qualitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Professional maturity, confidence and ability to face off to senior BU management
Proficient MS Excel skills
Business Objects (BOXI) experience preferred
Accounting qualification preferred
