EPOS Tester - Point of Sale QA - Manual - Retail EPOS Test Analyst s needed by one of the UKs top retail companies to work on a 3 month rolling contract. You will be working as part of a team built specifically for this high profile and important project. This is a position testing the Point of Sale (EPOS) hardware and software so experience in this area is vital.

Required experience:

• Working within Retail Testing Team
• Planning & performing User Acceptance & Proof of Concept testing across a range of projects/applications
• Manual testing EPOS hardware to support change into retail shops
• Working with offshore teams
• To analyse requirements, create and maintain test plans, cases, scripts & defect reports.
• Software testing experience in both Waterfall and Agile
• Use knowledge to help identify root cause of defects
• ISTBQ/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
• Good communication & influencing skills
• Performing User Acceptance and Proof of Concept testing
• Manual testing of both applications and hardware , logging defects, escalating and providing recommendations on problems to support other team members in delivering their testing accountabilities.
