Epidemiologist (Home Based)

EPIDEMIOLOGIST (LITERATURE REVIEW) - HOME BASED - 6 MONTH ROLLING CONTRACT

Our client is currently recruiting an Epidemiologist for a Literature Search and Review Project for a top 10 Pharma company. This is a home based role, with minimal travel for initial training and quarterly reviews. This is a long term project that is due to run until Dec 2016.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform Literature search in major databases, screen topics for interest and prepare results of review in prescribed format; This report is used in various regulatory documents like RMP, PIP etc. This is a qualitative review and not a quantitative review.

Qualifications and Experience:

*Masters in Public Health/Epidemiology is essential

*LifeScience/Healthcare education preferred (Pharma, Biology, Nursing/Masters/PhD)

Skillsets:

*Understanding of public health Experience in doing literature reviews

*Expertise in evidence reporting and research area

*Profound knowledge of epidemiological study designs and of statistics for a proper assessment of published study results

*Experience performing critical commentaries of studies (limitations, implications and conclusions).
