Epic Willow Pharmacists

Large Hospital System in NY needs Epic Willow Pharmacist, Pharmacy Techicians for temporary project work, 2 months. M-F Flexible work schedule.

Position Summary: Responsible for reviewing and preparing medication for dispensing to patients within State and Federal guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. New York State Pharmacist License. Good Communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Advanced degree in pharmacy related field.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Position requires a flexible work schedule. Position requires individuals to stand for long periods of time.

4Position involves the ability to multitask within a stressful environment. Limited space.

Dispensing of medications.

Provides drug information and consultation.

Trains and monitors Pharmacy Technicians.

Nursing station reviews.

Responsible for filling and checking compounded prescriptions.

Security of the Pharmacy.

Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality record; adheres to departmental and organizational policies.

Documents and maintains pharmaceutical records.

Performs other duties as assigned.
