Purpose and Description: 
Mid-Atlantic States HC Production Support team is seeking a consultant experienced with Epic Printer and Desktop Support to provide day to day support and maintenance as well as assist in ongoing project initiatives. Primary role will consist of maintaining Epic Front End/Back End printers, workstations and order transmittals within HealthConnect (HC). This role will have regular communications with other business and IT partners supporting HC, may review software, analyze business operations and work with Epic and staff as needed. The ideal candidate will also have Citrix knowledge, will be comfortable having direct access to Workstation mapping tables for troubleshooting and be experienced with Active Directory issues. 

Essential Functions: 
- Will require occasional late working hours including weekends to support department moves and other projects 
- Will be configuring workstations (LWS) import sheets with all needed information for Workstation names, order transmittal groups and other Back End printing (eg AVS) 
- Will configure specific LWS records for printers to be used in order transmittal 
- Map all clinical workstations for static workstations, and analyze which non-clinical (practice management) workstations can be used as dynamic workstations. 
- Conduct onsite tests of client workstations for Citrix login, and HC connectivity, as well as Front End & Back End printing 
- Perform tier 1 support for workstations and printing problems on an ongoing basis. 
- Manage the HC MA PRINTING Remedy groups, including incident and change management requests. 
- Attend staff & project meetings as appropriate 
- Develops test/project plans and communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. 
- Provides product expertise to client groups, delivers presentations, demonstrations and training for application systems. 
- Coordinates installation and first-use of new applications. 
- Serves as a single point of contact for the resolution of client issues. 
- Provides on-going technical or track management and status reporting at all levels. 

Required Experience: 
- 5 years of experience managing Epic printer & Workstation configurations 
- Demonstrated collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills 
- Ability to work with regional and national team members who may be physically remote (telecommuting) 
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. 

Preferred Experience: 
- Certification: Epic Client Systems Manager 
- Experience with data and applications in the health care and insurance fields 
- Working knowledge of Epic electronic health record applications and workflows. 
- Demonstrated ability to work with both Technical and Business management and staff 
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of management 
- Must have a strong team focus and ability to work well under deadlines 
- Knowledge of Remedy ITFS 

Required Education: 
- Bachelor's degree information technology or related field

Standard Work Hours: 
- Flexible - normally you will be working normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some afterhours support may be required.
