Environments Manager- Investment Banking

I have a great new opportunity working for a top investment bank. My client is looking for a strong experienced Environments manager to provide central support to ensure that environments are able to meet change requirements of the development roadmap, the business model and aggressive roll-out schedules. along side this a strong drive is required to proactively focus on service improvement, with the business requiring a functionality rich environment supporting a high rate of change.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Working with IT architecture team, development teams and IT Operations to ensure that environments are planned, designed, provisioned, maintained and supported to ensure that the Programme's requirements and timescales are met..
- Working with IT development teams and IT Operations to establish root cause of all incidents and coordinate tactical and strategic remedial actions.
- Working with Support to prepare an effective support model which covers the business units systems 
- Defining ever greening road maps and work with development teams to ensure appropriate inclusion into service upgrade road maps and plans.
- Preparing environment budgets and co-ordinate with project teams to ensure smooth environmental changes.

KEY SKILLS:

- Strong delivery manager with 7+ years' experience gained in a banking environment.
- Excellent Project Management skills with proven track record working across full life cycle on large scale projects which involve many dependent systems teams up and downstream of the application being built
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Experience and ability to make technical design/implementation decisions
