Environmental Engineer - Texas Panhandle

Job Description

The Environmental Engineer/Specialist will provide Environmental support to the midstream operations in the Texas Panhandle. This is a safety sensitive position and will
work closely with the Environmental Engineer and Safety Coordinators for this region.

Essential Fuctions:
* Act as a direct contact between the Corporate office and the field offices.
* Must be knowledgeable of the permit history for the sites.
* Responsible for monthly environmental training of all operations personnel for in the region.
* Must keep current with regulatory changes.
* Offer support in providing information to State and Federal Environmental Agencies.
* Coordinate plot plan updates for permitting.
* Report to State and/or Federal Agencies any spills or releases to land, air or water.
* Visit sites as needed to coordinate permitting, construction and operation of equipment to meet the requirements of the permits.
* Provide compliance reporting support for all Title V sites.
* Maintain all flare and incinerator reports and requirements.
* Tier II Reporting for all sites.
* Schedule all third party biannual, semiannual and quarterly engine stack testing.
* Schedule all LDAR monitoring and file all reports.
* Track all waste records and reporting.
* Maintain Smoke Reading Certification through semi-annual training.
* Coordinate and file all SPCC Inspections.
* Complete all necessary compliance documentation for the permits.
* Assist in PHAs for all environmental issues.
* Supervise all remediation projects for this region.

Required Skills
* Candidate must possess strong speaking, reading, and writing capabilities in order to work with both internal customers and external agencies.
* Should be proficient in Excel, Adobe Professional Read and Write and MS Word.
* Multi-tasking and Organizational skills are musts for this position. There will be multiple internal customers that will require help.

Required Experience
* B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field.
* Candidate should have at least 5 years experience working as an environmental engineer, or in an environmental support organization.
* Experience in air regulatory reporting and compliance is required.
