Environmental Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a global Oil and Gas operator who is offering an excellent career opportunity for experienced Environmental Advisors and specialists. The position of Environmental Advisor offers a fantastic opportunity on a long-term contract basis with the potential for further extension, with a major Oil and Gas operator in Aberdeen (with offshore visits required) on an excellent package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice in environmental matters in order that the Company can demonstrate sound environmental management, ensure legal compliance and minimise the potential for litigation or damage to the Company's reputation.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

*Appropriate relevant environmental experience (preferably in a Drilling environment within Oil and Gas)
*Educated to degree level
*Thorough knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation
*Approved Environmental Management System Lead Auditor
*Trained in Oil Spill Management and Modelling
*Possess Offshore Survival, Medical & MIST Certificates
