ENVIRONMENT MANAGER | SERVER | NETWORK | CLOUD | SAN | DATABASE | RACI | CONTRACT | LEEDS

Square One are looking for an Environment Manager to join on a 1-2 Year project with a leading client based in Leeds. To apply for this role you must have:

- Excellent Project Management skills
- Technical background about Servers, networking-connectivity across various private cloud based applications, storage (SAN), database, etc. would be an advantageous
- Should have worked managing complex multi-vendor environment management scenarios
- Be able to define RACI across the vendors, if needed to resolve ownership of activities involving environment provisioning & resolving issues
- Should be aware of the pre-requisites required for Development, Performance testing & UAT-Production environment, associated Test data requirements etc.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Prepare and execute environment plans as per the project timelines for various phases in the SDLC and Testing life cycles in a large transformation programme involving multiple workstreams and vendors (hosting vendors, product implementation vendors for Oracle, Manhattan, Amber Road, iSeries)
- Liaise with various stakeholders (Customer IT, IT Service Providers and Hosting partners) for environments requirements and provisioning
- Will have release manager, data requisition manager, infrastructure provisioning manager and hosting entities reporting to him/her
- Should be able to drive decisions across these reporting lines and represent appropriately in steering committee which is chaired by CIO, COO and Directors
- Should be able to present status reporting across tracks to the programme steering committee and drive decisions
- Manage expectations of multiple stakeholders involved in various programs across enterprise
- Coordinate with workstreams for environments build as per the project timelines
- Coordinate with Infrastructure team for connectivity requirement for integrating various systems
- Coordinate & support in resolving environment issues
- Coordinate planned outages required for patching, upgrades, etc. between development/testing/business teams and the environments hosting partners.
- Communicating to customer business on regular basis about environments status and issues
