Environment, Health & Safety Engineer - EHS

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER/LEIDEN, NETHERLANDS/5 MONTHS CONTRACT/44 TO 69 EUR (PER HOUR)

The Environment Health Safetyand to advice on achieving EHS2 goals. Instruments that are available for this purpose include Safety & Environmental Management Systems. Audit systems, incident management systems and safe behaviour management systems. Managing these types of systems and implementing new EHS2 programs, plans and procedures is an important part of the task package. You are also expected to be able to contribute actively to Janssen and J&J projects. By maintaining internal contacts (security reps, budget holders and project security personnel, etc.), you will ensure that the agreed agreements are met as stated in the ARBO and Environmental Annual Plan, MAARS Management Action Plans, ISO14001, Corrective Action Plan or other appointment lists. By maintaining external contacts, you provide a good relationship with licensors and other government representatives and a good PR to J&J corporate EMEA and WW and other J&J affiliates in the EMEA region.

- Lead of (ad hoc) EHS2 subcommittees such as accident analysis team, ERGO team, Fall Prevention Team, BHV teams
- Holding of risk analyses in the field of EHS2 and if necessary, carrying out measurements
- Support of all Janssen departments such as workplace inspections, risk assessments, resolution non-compliance, MAARS action points
- Apply relevant laws and regulations and J&J policy changes and reporting
- Creating EHS
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: safety, health, environment, occupational hygiene, ergonomics or related fields;
- Experience in a similar function;
- Good familiarity with industrial EHS2 standards;
- Ability to combine conceptual/policy-oriented thinking with vigor and implementation ability;
- Flexible working attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, English & Dutch.
