Entry Level New Wells Rig Clerk

My client is seeking entry level Gulf of Mexico Deep Water Rig Clerks to fill the potential gap when Senior Level Rig Clerks are not available.

The assignment would start on-shore in the client's office to obtain some training for approximately three to four weeks. Then they would rotate to an assigned rig. These individuals will shadow the night Rig Clerk and learn OpenWells database, cost accounting, cargo manifests, and logistics coordination in the beginning, as well as ad-hoc duties.

Contractor will be responsible for costs for industry training such as HUET training, FRCs, steel toed boots, etc.

Minimum Requirements

* * High School Diploma
* * Prefer 2-4 years college, Military or 2+ years working in the Oil & Gas industry
* * Working knowledge of Microsoft products
* * TWIC Card
Training Requirements

* Huet Water Survival (paid by Contractor)
* Safe Gulf (paid by Contractor)
* License to Go Offshore (TWIC)

4 weeks hands on training in the Houston office

Position requires working a 14/14 rotation and requires helicopter travel to and from the offshore facility. Travel to the offshore facility requires a TWIC card.

Must currently be residing in the US and authorized to work contract positions in the US
