Entry Level Electrical Engineer Job

ENTRY LEVEL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with YOH'S client located in NORRISTOWN, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* The Analyst position provides support for Real Time EMS system database updates and display building.
* Learn about the electrical grid management system that provides telemetry data accuracy, then maintain the data and definitions that run the system.
* Once you learn the system, you'll be asked to coordinate data exchange across the system, which will require great attention to detail.
* Responsibilities include tasks associated to the development, deployment and maintenance of the SCADA system.
* These tasks include but are not limited to; modelling the network within the SCADA system, configuration of the SCADA system to communicate to the field devices, and testing the SCADA system to verify the application is operating as designed.
* Performs all aspects of system related administration, support, development, security and maintenance of SCADA solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate customer support.
* Strong customer service skills with the understanding of internal and external customer needs
* Goal oriented with the ability to move through obstacles to get the job done
* Ability to work both individually and in a team environment, including with those which cross department and divisional boundaries
* Demonstrated attention to detail

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience with working in a UNIX (IBM AIX) environment and XML
* Familiarity with Siemens Spectrum Energy Management System
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Real Time Energy Management System databases and/or display generation software and electric power system display characteristics
