Our client is seeking someone to support the internal IT and business teams in the planning and execution of project work. The Entry Level Business Analyst will be responsible for soliciting requirements from business partners and translating those requirements into BI (Cognos) solutions. ENTRY LEVEL BUSINESS ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

- Position requires a unique blend or Business Analysis skills and business document writing (20%) and BI (Cognos) development skills (80%)
- Interest and knowledge of open source tools (eg. Postgres)
- Excellent personality (gregarious)
- Fascination with technology
- Excellent to have (but not mandatory)
- GUI design experience
- Java development experience
-Linux RHEL, JBoss
- Oracle, SQL, DB2

ENTRY LEVEL BUSINESS ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, IE or related field
- Retail experience (any retail industry)
