HR Director - Start up - Stand alone HR role - Entrepreneurial

My client, an innovative payments company based in London Blackfriars requires a HR Director on an initial contract basis (there would be the option to go permanent at a later date if agreeable by all parties)

This really is a great opportunity to join a relatively new company that is rapidly growing. The individual must have previous experience of working in stand alone roles and leading the HR function. The individual will be part of a newly created leadership team with strong personalities and must have experience of coaching and mentoring to create collaborative working practices. You will support on setting corporate objectives, working on the equity scheme, being part of the Executive meeting, however you also need to be comfortable with filling in a few forms and supporting in interviews.

The successful candidate will have a very specific background. They want someone who has worked within one of the following types of industry: A Global Search Engine company (Google, Yahoo etc), Media Organisation, Communications, Distributors (eg WorldPay, First Data), Retail HR, Online Gaming.

You must have an interesting and diverse background and come from a fast paced, innovative, creative type of culture.

Stakeholder management is also key to the success of this role.

Accountabilities and main duties include:

* Establish people strategies to maintain organisational success and priorities.
* Support the directors and their teams in implementing the people dimensions of the business strategy.
* Build effective relationships with the key stakeholders, working closely to ensure alignment with mothership.
* Prioritise HR initiatives, ensuring they are specified to create real business value.
* Implement the remuneration strategy ensuring alignment with market rate
* Help to support collaborative working with the leadership team
* Implement initiatives to create a winning and collaborative culture
* Devise, implement and maintain cost effective and insightful HR policy and procedures.
* Work closely with the leadership team to develop our approach to talent management to ensure commitment to talent resourcing, development and retention and succession planning.
* Provide thought leadership on all aspects of HR.
* Accountable for the advice, coaching and partnering with the senior team on people related issues
* Liaise with senior colleagues on employee engagement issues within the business to maximise consultation and employee involvement.
