Projektbeschreibung

Description Enterprise Solution Architect :
This is a global role with a key focus on the digital and patient solution space (e.g., Internet of Things, cloud, mobile and analytics).

You will be a key member of the IT team, providing subject matter expertise on system and application design and development/implementation. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency and efficiency in design and development by proactively producing relevant reference artifacts, complemented with in-depth architectural guidance for individual projects or programs. Furthermore, you will review designs produced by internal teams or external suppliers for architectural compliance and appropriateness.

Additionally, you will act as a thought leader on new technologies and practices in your domain, and define or contribute to associated actionable roadmaps. As a trusted partner, you will closely interact with a broad range of stakeholders both within and outside of the organization.

Responsibilities Enterprise Solution Architect :
•Provide architectural expertise in the digital and patient solution space (e.g., Internet of Things, cloud, mobile and analytics).
•Define and articulate the implications of enterprise architecture strategies, goals and viewpoints to system and application architectures. Conversely, represent these areas in enterprise architectural decisions.
•Proactively identify, define and maintain architectural artifacts to promote design and development/implementation consistency of systems and applications, or to reduce their time to market, cost and technical risk. Artifacts include, but are not limited to architectural principles, patterns, standards, best practices, reference and implementation architectures.
•Evangelize these artifacts to application designers and developers, ensuring their adoption and adaption as appropriate.
•Deliver supplemental technical expertise and guidance to project teams as needed. Elevate such individual contributes to re-usable artifacts where relevant.
•Review individual system and application designs for architectural conformance and overall software quality (e.g., reliability, scalability, extensibility, …); this includes third-party technology solution assessments.
•Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on (emerging) technologies, patterns and practices. Assess their value and risks for the company, as well as their implications for the future state. Provide decision-ready recommendations, and develop actionable roadmaps for the organization.
•Closely collaborate with enterprise, security and infrastructure architects, as well as compliance, data privacy and other subject matter experts to ensure your assets and designs are comprehensive and sustainable.

Technical skills Enterprise Solution Architect :
•A Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent
•3 years' experience in end-to-end solution or system/application architecture and design in the digital space, using modern patterns and styles (e.g., REST, event-driven, (micro)service architectures, …)
•In-depth knowledge of cloud architectures, in particular associated design requirements and constraints; hands-on development and deployment experience is a plus
•Experience with networked devices and embedded systems is a plus
•Working knowledge of development and programming styles, languages and methodologies
•Understanding of information security essentials, in particular identity and access management
•Well-versed in documenting complex systems including different views; proficient in modeling languages such UML or SysML
•An analytical approach and attitude, with an eye for detail while maintaining oversight of the overall architecture
•Strong business acumen
•Proactive management style and leadership potential
•Ability to work independently, as well as to effectively engage and collaborate with people without a hierarchical link
•Ability to resolve conflicting points of view and to align people across teams
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, across all levels of the organization
•Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
•Willingness to travel (max. 10-15% of your time)
