Enterprise Java/Oracle Database Developer - Banking - Zürich

ENTERPRISE JAVA/ORACLE DATABASE DEVELOPER

Our client, a large international bank, is currently looking for a Java Developer with strong Oracle skills.

DESCRIPTION:

Java and Oracle Software Design and Development for Global Treasury IT Projects

Test Driven Development (TDD) in an agile environment

Continuous Integration (CI) environment for regression tests

Use of several Tools: Jenkins, Google Guava, H2

DELIVERABLES:

Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components

Creation and Documentation of the technical application design

Implementation of the application components using Java

Creation and Execution of JUnit Tests

Participation in unit, integration and user acceptance testing

Ensure that common standards, processes and tools are adopted across won deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor/Master Degree, equal education or qualifying experience in Information Technology

Expert in Software Engineering and Software Design

Experience in building production ready software

Java 6 knowledge

Very good communication skills in German and English are required

Basic Banking know how

Oracle 10/11g experience

SQL experience

Hibernate/JPA experience

Willingness to work in an agile project model together with 2 Business Analysts and 3 Developers using Kanban

Java development with Eclipse under Windows for a Unix target system

Shell Scripting experience

Knowledge and effective use of Maven and Ant

Deep knowledge in Java Patterns and Anti-Patterns
