Enterprise IT Engineer (Windows/Linux Management) - 50-60K + Trading House Bonus

A leading global commodities trading house is looking to hire an Enterprise IT Engineer to manage, monitor, support and maintain the Windows and Linux IT infrastructure estate. This role is multi dimensional, including enterprise backup (Net Backup/VEEAM), performance and capacity management, Server installation/management (Windows Server 2008, Linux and VMware) and maintenance of hardware within the overall enterprise estate.

Important skills include:
* Linux, Windows Server 2008 build / config / installation / clustering
* Net Backup, VEEAM
* EMC Data Domains
* Solar Winds and HP SIM
* Virtualisation including VMware (ESXi 4x, 5.x)
* HP hardware DL / C7000 blades / ethernet
* Active Directory (configuration and management)
* Networking basic understanding

Any experience within a similar role in a financial, energy/commodities trading house is highly desirable, as is business knowledge of trading and related processes because technology and the business and work in close alignment in order to optimise output. The engineer will have the opportunity to get involved with planning and coordination of upgrades, advising on potential industry technological developments and overall optimisation of the IT infrastructure estate.
