Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

A 6 month contract is available for an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to join a high profile team in Sydney's CBD. You will be required to drive effective architecture outcomes for the Data Centre services domain, ensuring alignment between enterprise, solution and technical architecture and design.

There may be the requirement to work outside of standard business hours, during the week and on weekends to support program activities as required.

Selection Criteria:

- Extensive architecture background gained within a very large enterprise coupled with a technical background that allows for depth as well as breadth.
- Demonstrable experience in defining technology architecture for large scale technology services.
- Demonstrates understanding of the impact to business and IT operating and service delivery models, processes and people in relation to the introduction of significant transformational initiatives.
- Highly developed knowledge of contemporary data centre technologies including VMWare, Enterprise Storage, x86 Servers, Linux, Windows and Solaris. Understanding and experience of automation, orchestration and monitoring technologies are of benefit.
- Highly experienced in leading internal and external architectural and engineering resources to define and deliver complex transformational change to an organisation within challenging timeframes.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills with ability to lead and influence stakeholders. A strong ability to communicate complex concepts and negotiate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Highly developed organisational, analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated experience in facilitating and leading workshops and discussions with managers and cross-functional technical teams to create complex architectures
- IT professional qualifications for IT Architecture is preferred, ITIL qualifications are of benefit in ensuring alignment with service delivery.
