Enterprise Data Warehousing Specialist

Highly - sought Government organisation requires an Enterprise Data Warehousing Specialist for a 12 month contract role. Lengthy extension options available!

DUTIES:

- Develop and deliver EDW solutions within agreed time, cost and quality expectations.
- Manage customer, business stakeholder and project team relationships throughout the solution development and support life cycle for small or large EDW projects.
- Provide production systems support to meet customer demand for the resolution of EDW and Reporting related incidents, problems, service requests and business improvement initiative.
- Research and evaluate new EDW and reporting technologies and opportunities for business improvement as required. Utilise and promote best practise methodologies for EDW and Reporting management, development, testing and support.
- Provide technical advice to other staff and participate in skills transfer as required.
- Promote the principles of workplace diversity and participative management in a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace.
- Provide technical advice to other staff and participate in skills transfer as required and mentor junior staff.

Your skills in MICROSTRATEGY, COGNOS, BUSINESS OBJECTS AND/OR HYPERION will be well received.

SKILLS:

- Highly developed EDW knowledge, including design, development and implementation.
- Adhere to agreed standards and better practice frameworks for EDW architecture, project management and system development life cycle management.
- Experience building enterprise information architecture in a large enterprise.
- Judgement, flexibility, agility, responsiveness and demonstrated high performance in problem solving and an ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes for business customers.
- Recent .NET experience advantageous.

Due to the nature of this organisation, you must be an Australian citizen with an NV1 clearance to apply. There may be required to upgrade your clearance to NV2 once onsite.
