Enterprise Data Management Developer (Markitedm)

We are looking for an Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) to join the project team.

The function is on expert level and the Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have the following generic qualifications.

- Proven experience in performing design and development within the Enterprise Data Management space, ideally on MarkitEDM
- Proven experience in translating technical specs into robust, practical technical solutions
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have at least 5-10 years of experience in similar roles and should be well aware of the chain of events from Front to Back Office;
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have experience in or have knowledge about: development, design and optimization, software and system architectural models, delivering technical interface designs;
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have strong analytical skills and should be able to share analyses with users, lead analysts and project management.
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have strong communication skills (verbally and in writing) including communicating various levels of detail appropriate to the audience;
- Problem solving skills as frequent and random changes will come up during the various stages of the project;
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have decision preparation skills including decision documentation preparation;
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have proven experience in system implementation and process improvement projects within financial services firms;

To bring the predefined deliverables to successful completion the Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should also have more specific knowledge and qualifications.

- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) has experience Master Data Management process like data cleansing, data scrubbing and data governance.
- Full understanding of instrument definitions and security master files is required;
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) ideally has experience in pricing and valuation processes including valuation methods;
- Experience in working with the application Markit EDM is a bonus.
- The Enterprise Data Management DEVELOPER (MARKITEDM) should have expert knowledge about financial products and their life cycle events (eg Equities, Government and Corporate Bonds, Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities, Equity Swaps/CFD's, CDS, IRS, Futures and Options, Bank Debt, FX Forwards).
