ENTERPRISE DATA ARCHITECT

Reporting into the Head of Architecture you will lead the technical resource in the strategic oversight and planning of data models and database structural design and development

Acting as champion of Best Practice, the post holder will drive standards and policies in relation to the development of Data estate.

As part of a significant Enterprise IT Transformation It is the responsibility of the Data Architect to set the policies and standards about usage and access to Data within IPF and to govern adherence.

With a strong background in a number of Data related projects, the post holder will act as a Subject Matter Expert to IT Transformation projects requiring specialist Data Architecture Skills including Big Data, MDM, Data Warehousing and Application Data Integration.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 7 years working as an Architect for Data, Software Development, Database & BI
- Extensive experience with very large data repositories
- Experience with the full SDLC
- Extensive experience architecting OLTP/OLAP databases with enterprise modelling tools with Erwin
- Deep understanding of data warehouse approaches.
- Strong SQL background
- Experience with ETL/ELT Tools
- MDM project - Tool Selection, modelling, Data Quality, profiling etc.
- Client facing experience
